About Our School

Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector – 8, Rohini was established in 1997, is spread over 4.2 acres and is unique in its field of academic, discipline, and co-curricular activities, impairing value based quality education. The Vidyalaya, with strength of approximately 1380 students in 1st Shift & about 893 students in 2nd shift., is managed by the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan.

It is having +2 Commerce stream, + 2 Science stream in both the shifts, 3 sections upto 10th in the morning shift and 2 sections upto 10th in the evening shift. A new feather of Humanities has been added in this Vidyalaya. This Vidyalya is situated in Civil Sector and one can reach on foot from Rohoni East Metro Station.

With 'education' acquiring new connotations and spanning wider dimensions, the Vidyalaya is alive to the challenge of molding a new generation of students into a genre of well integrated personalities equipped with the life skills necessary to take up future challenges. Empowering every student and building his/her understanding forms an integral part of the school system. Kendriya Vidyalaya, Sector – 8, Rohini has burgeoned into a multidisciplinary institution, offering various facilities to impart diverse skills, in tune with the requirements of the modern world.

The standard of the Vidyalaya has been maintained because of the leader of the team along with the highly qualified experienced and dedicated team members. Our organization conducts in-service courses for teachers from time to time for updating their knowledge and bringing awareness about latest methodology & Technology of education. The desired changes in the academic attitude and aptitude of the teachers are brought about with time-to-time guidance and supervision of senior educationists, specialists and experts.
